CLERGY AND STAFF

The cathedral is administered by a host of staff, who deal with the liturgical, pastoral, musical and social aspects of cathedral life. Details of the full complement of cathedral staff are listed below, alongside those who serve as canons on the Cathedral Chapter. The charge of the cathedral is taken by the Provost, The Very Revd Richard Kilgour, pictured on the left. The role and responsibility of the Provost is as the Rector of the cathedral church of a vast diocese, whose position comprises authority for the full role of cathedral administration, in addition to a highly respected role within both the city and the diocese as an ambassador and innovator for the mission of the Anglican communion in Scotland.
